On our October cruise we played host to three friends. First up was Jane, a friend of Jan's from college. She was with us for a couple of hours as we went up through Grindley Brook.
Here she is, approaching on the towpath. My timelapse camera is on the cabin top, just to the right of the useless omnidirectional TV aerial: the cable coming out is the power supply.
Judy and John are friends from our village in Norfolk. They came the next day and stayed for three nights, soaking up all things boaty. And yes, that did include a little rain.
It stayed dry this day, though, as we descended Frankton Locks onto the Montgomery Canal. I'll post at more length about this later.
A smooth crossing.

You must provide many friends and family with nice weekend getaways!
It is good to have other people on board, but it is also good to be on one's own sometimes!
